What does the Mobile App do?

The Mobile app allows you to use the Exchange to its FULL potential.  Each subscription has 1 FREE mobile account.  More accounts can be purchased if required. 

The app has 5 distinct functions:

TRACKING - plots your current location on the Live Availability Map and to matches loads with your current location.

AVAILABILITY STATUS (available / maybe available / not available / unknown) If you have tracking turned on but do not set your current availability status, then your location will be plotted on the map with an ‘unknown’ status.  You will not receive matches based on your location if your status is set to unavailable.  The app prompts you to set a reminder so that you can actively keep your status updated correctly

RETURN JOURNEY registration inc status (you can state that on the registered journey you are empty, full, co-load possible) This status is independent of the availability status above.  You can manage your return journeys on the Mobile App too

MY BOOKINGS you will be able to update the status of a booking in 4 ways:

  • On site (Pick up)
  • Loaded
  • On Site - Delivery
  • POD

Each status update will update your diary and the diary of the member that gave you the job.  It will also generate 'Pro-Alerts' if the member that has booked the job to you has selected to receive them.

Who's Nearby? This function searches for other tracked members within a 30 mile radius of your current location.  CLicking on a pin will display their details and you will be able to call them directly by clicking the telephone icon if your device allows you to make calls
